Father G and the Homeboys is an award-winning documentary about one of L.A.'s greatest hometown heroes, Father Greg. Produced in 2007 and narrated by Martin Sheen, the movie powerfully chronicles Father G’s transformative work with the toughest of gang members. In the film, directors John Bohm and Pete Tapia weave Father G’s story together with the lives of four gang members following their journeys as they struggle to leave violent pasts and embrace the hope, training and support offered at Homeboy Industries.
